hi there

I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE

I’m multi-passionate manifesting generator, truth-slinging rebel, and the woman who’s here to help you build a business that feels like it was made for you — not just the algorithm.

ABOUT NELLY MITCHELL

ABOUT NELLY MITCHELL ✨

I don’t fit in a box. I’ve tried. Burned it to the ground. Buried the ashes.

And now I build businesses and movements that are sustainable, soul-filled, and designed around real life — especially for the women who’ve been told they’re “too much,” “too emotional,” or “not doing it right.”

This is business — but built with your nervous system, your season, and your spark in mind.

Ask anyone who’s met me and they’ll say the same thing:

 “You’re not what I expected.”

I’m the girl who’ll adjust your spine, crack a joke, recommend cacao and sex for stress relief — then hold space for the deepest grief your body’s never voiced.

I’ve built a bricks-and-mortar wellness space, two digital brands, and a nervous-system-led movement — all while raising babies, healing through hyperemesis, and rewriting the rules of what it means to be a woman in business.

But none of this started from a vision board (they came later).

It started from the wreckage of doing it their way.

THE BEGINNING

Seven years ago, I was deep in a system that was cracking me open.

It looked like opportunity on paper — but in my body, it felt like betrayal. I was unwell. Overwhelmed. Trying to hold together a future that made no sense in my nervous system. And I kept pushing — because I believed success meant sacrifice. Because I was terrified of what would happen if I let it all fall.

And then it did.

I lost relationships I thought were unbreakable.

I walked away from people, positions, and promises I thought would define my future.

And I nearly lost myself in the process.

But what I gained — clarity, capacity, a new kind of strength — became the bones of something better.

I didn’t want to build just another studio.
I wanted to build a sanctuary.

A safe place.

A place where women could come to remember themselves.

Where nervous systems soften, cycles are honoured, and no one’s asked to “push through” anything.

Well Soul Studio was my first baby.

It still holds my fingerprints.

It taught me that sustainability isn’t a buzzword

— it’s a boundary.

THE PARTS OF ME THAT DON’T MATCH

and Never Needed To

If there’s one thing I’ve learned since opening the studio — it’s that you can hold deep contradiction and still be deeply aligned.

I’m the pivot queen.

A Manifesting Generator with a million ideas — and zero interest in forcing them to land.

Some weeks I host back-to-back events. Others, I cancel them all because my body said no.

I can walk out of a room where someone’s just received devastating news, breathe once, and walk into another where someone’s celebrating a pregnancy, a win, a comeback.

That’s the work.
That’s the capacity.

I’ve gone from over-functioning to overflowing.

From doing it all to doing only what’s mine.

From hiring for potential to hiring for alignment.

From believing loyalty was everything… to knowing that sometimes the most loving thing you can do is let go.

My nervous system used to run this business on urgency.

Now it runs on discernment.

THE EVOLVING

At some point, I realised the appointment room wasn’t enough.

I could adjust a spine.
I could ground someone’s system.
I could feel their body exhale for the first time in weeks.

But then they’d walk back out into the same noise, the same patterns, the same overwhelm — and I knew:

This work needs to leave with them.

That’s why I created

— a 12-week nervous system reset that helps women understand themselves, trust themselves, and back themselves… long after the session ends.

It’s not another protocol.
It’s not mindset work in disguise.
It’s the missing piece: safety in your body, clarity in your design, and a rhythm that actually supports your life.

Because your healing shouldn’t depend on how many appointments you can squeeze into a calendar that’s already full.

And as The Shift expanded, I saw what came next —

Women weren’t just asking how to feel better.
They were asking:

How do I build a business that actually works for me now that I feel better?

That’s when Genius by Design became its own energy

— a space for women to earn, lead, live and create in a way that matches their nervous system, not overrides it.
It’s where we blend strategy with softness. Systems with soul.

And where women finally stop asking if they’re doing it right — and start trusting what feels right.

And then…

Helping women rise inside their business wasn’t a choice. It was a calling that wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Even before I had the language for what I was doing — nervous system work, energetic alignment, business model redesign — I was doing it.

In the studio.

In text threads.

On calls with women who were brilliant but burnt out.

Women who had spent years building something “successful” that no longer felt like theirs. I saw it over and over, especially in practitioners: the slow, invisible collapse that happens when your business relies on your body — and your body starts saying no.

That’s where Thriving in Practice was born.

It’s the framework I wish I had when I was adjusting through pregnancy, heartbreak, and exhaustion. The strategy and structure that allows women to keep their magic

— but stop sacrificing themselves to deliver it.

JUST LITTLE OLD ME

BEYOND MY BUSINESSES

I’m just a girl who takes long, too-hot showers because water makes me feel safe. If I can’t be at the beach, that’s my reset.

Oils are everywhere — in my bag, my car, every drawer in the house — because they’re the way I access emotion. I shut so much down for so long that now, I let it rise.

When I get a day off (rare, because I love my work), you’ll find me soaking up sunshine with my two little men and my big one — laughing, cackling, and putting up with all the fart jokes and chaos that come with living in a house full of boys. I’ll cook something nourishing, move my body, maybe walk on the beach, and text a friend just to hear her voice.

Gilmore Girls is my background nervous system support. Friends got me through my darkest HG days.

When people meet me, they often say, “That’s not what I came here for today,” or “You kind of broke me.” But I see that as sacred. When your body trusts me enough to unravel, I hold that with care.

I swear like a trooper when it fits, love R&B dancing, and I’m always up for a margarita and a deep, left-of-field convo that makes you laugh and think in the same breath. I don’t like small talk. I want to know what your dreams are doing to you.

I feel safe with people who laugh from their belly, whose eyes match their energy.

I could watch my kids for hours — they’re wild and wonderful and more magical than I could ever script.

Cool marble, green grass, ocean air, anything blue or teal — those drop me back into myself.

But the place I feel most like me? Always the beach. Coffee in hand, my boys nearby, thoughts drifting with the tide.

And if there’s one thing I want you to feel when you land here — it’s relief.

Like, “Thank fuck — she sees me.”
